Artist Book - 2018

Over the past 10 years, I have collected an amazing array of insects, birds and nests around our bush land studio. The birds and insects may have fallen due to the heat, met their unfortunate end by predators or had simply reached the end of their cycle. 

When put under the critical gaze of magnification, these exquisitely preserved nests, birds and insects reveal an amazing beauty in their structures, textures and forms. They are reminder that the cycle of life is ordinary and precarious.  It is a privilege for me to narrate their delicate existence
