Central Lands 2016

The sheer magnitude of the space in desert landscapes allows the mind to clear. Time invites opportunity for reflection.

These images are interpreted from above, taken from a helicopter. I see them as moments of inner stillness that draw the viewers into a contemplative visual space.

This body of work resulted from an artist in residency trip I took in the Northern Territory in 2009 and again in 2016.
