Moonlight Cactus 2004

Drawing on the strong memories from my Grandmother’s cactus garden in central Argentina where I lived until the age of 7.

This body of work was my first foray into the discipline of Photopolymer Photogravure printmaking.

Shot on my trusted Hasselblad camera and then translated with the photogravure process, the resulting prints suit the highly textured, embossed inklines the etching technique can offer – a perfect combination!
